In December 2010 our very special Finance Officer, Mrs. Clare Bailey sadly died of cancer.
Clare was a dedicated colleague and is greatly missed. We commissioned a mosaic artist, Mr. Peter Harrington, to work with pupils to design and make a lasting memorial to Clare within the school grounds. The mosaic was unveiled and blessed by Rev. Fr. Tom Saunders on Clare's birthday, 25th January.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord
And let perpetual light shine upon her.
May she Rest In Peace.

The Governing Body consists of a group of volunteers who give their time to support our school. They fulfill many statutory duties and are responsible for the strategic direction of the school. They work with the Leadership Team to ensure the school is as effective as possible. The majority of governors are appointed by the Bishop of Brentwood and are known as Foundation Governors. Their role is to ensure that the Catholic Identity of the school is upheld at all times. Parent Governors are appointed by other parents of children at the school. The Local Authority (Essex County Council) appoints a representative to serve on the Governing Body.Staff are also represented. Any decision made by the Governing Body is a collective one and individuals have no power to act unless responsibilities are specifically delegated to him/her.
